What’s the difference between sugaring and waxing?
Sugaring

Made from all-natural ingredients (sugar, lemon, water)
Used at a warm, skin-safe temperature — never hot
Applied against hair growth, removed with hair growth
Water-soluble — washes off easily with warm water
Does not adhere to live skin cells, making it gentler on the skin
Waxing

Typically applied boiling hot, which can irritate skin
Applied with hair growth, removed against it
Not water-soluble — requires oil or special remover
Can be harsher on sensitive skin
How long do I need to grow out my hair before sugaring?
We recommend waiting at least 14 days after shaving before your sugaring appointment.
The longer the hair, the better the results — ideally, hair should be about 1/4 inch long.
This allows the sugar to grip the hair effectively for a smoother removal.
How long does sugaring last?
Sugaring typically lasts 2 to 3 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle.
When hair grows back, it’s usually finer and more sparse, making future sessions more comfortable.
You won’t need another sugaring appointment for 4 to 6 weeks — perfect for keeping your skin smooth longer!
